It’s hard to believe that this game will turn 8 years old this year.

The original DiRT was better, in my opinion.

As a game, you’re probably right. However, Dirt 2 is way better as a nostalgia machine for me. So many hours logged.

The original DiRT was more authentic, but Dirt 2 was great when you just wanted to slide around and have fun

I agree, except the wheel support was really bad.

this game is definitely worth a playthrough. it’s got a great career mode, you can adjust the difficulty to be as good or bad as you drive to have a close race.. And you get grief from pro drivers like Travis pastrana lol. I prefer it over dirt 1 because it has much better graphics performance. it just feel smoother all the way around. It reminds me of codemasters fun old Rally Masters game from 1999.
